Alert-K9’s journey began over six years ago through firsthand personal experience when Stephanie found herself in need of a service dog.  To her surprise and disappointment, the process was far from smooth.  She experienced one roadblock and disappointment after another, resulting in failure with five different programs.  Recognizing the trainer’s essential role in not just handling the dog but assisting with the human-canine partnership, Stephanie took matters into her own hands to provide the client-focused service and training that would have made her own experience successful the first time around. 

At Alert-K9, we are dedicated to guiding people through the service dog training and pairing process with honesty and efficiency, ensuring clients avoid the struggles and pitfalls that Stephanie once experienced herself.  We are licensed, insured, and committed to unlocking the potential of every dog through one of our specialized training programs. This customized training approach allows dogs to develop the skills and behavior needed to be the perfect companion for their unique handler.
